Course objectives:
This is a comprehensive course in Computer System, which objectives are:
  • Students of CS103 will be able to exhibit thorough understandings and appreciation on how a computer system works and how various components of a computer system perform.
  • Students of CS103 will be able to exhibit understanding of the underlying digital techniques, that is implemented within a computer system.
  • Students of SC103 will be able to exhibit an understanding and appreciation of the architectural aspect of a computer system.
What students will learn:
The detailed learning goals will be given at each of the session. In general, by the end of this course you should be able to:
  • Be familiar and understand the basic fundamentals of a Computer Systems.
  • Understand and able to operationally use the Digital System on which every Computer System is built on.
  • Understand the fundamental architecture of a Computer System.
