Project #02 - Basic ALU 2
Continuing from Project #01, your team will add a loader (refer to the teaching material about loader) into your design; and by using your knowledge on the synchronous sequential logic you will add a clock generator, registers and other combinational circuit into the design to perform the desired loading procedure.
For this project, your group will join 2 other groups from Project #01 to form a group of 6 (1 doing the Adder/Subtractor and 2 doing the Multiplier)
You may select which option to take
  • Option 1: Parallel Loader
  • Option 2: Serial Loader
Construct the design in the simulator and conduct necessary adjustment to make your design more efficient.

Deliverables:
  • The working simulation
  • The presentation slides
  • Presentation in front of the class using the slide and present using the simulation software

Grading:
You will be graded using this grading criteria for this project.
